Naya was one of the original three dogs here at Chasing The Wolves. She was adopted at age 7. She was from the same breeder as Zelda, a family returned her when she was no longer fitting with the family. We were so grateful to add her to the pack, she brought a calm, older energy. She quickly became Zelda’s best friend and the start of my little team. In her old age, she enjoyed free runs and hikes, and still joined on the occasional sled run. Naya was definitely the matriarch of the pack and kept everyone in line. We’d also say that Naya was your ‘typical’ Siberian. Loved to talk, didn’t love to listen, was happy to let anyone into the home and show them where the treats were. Naya passed away shortly after her 11th birthday.
