Chasing The Dream…
Chasing The Wolves is a small kennel based out of northern Minnesota located in the Iron Rage. Owned and run by TJ Squires, she started this kennel with a dream to just get closer to her dogs and spend more time outdoors.
As the kennel grows, TJ’s focus is in mid distance mushing, as well as creating educational sled dog content across various social media platforms.
If you aren’t doing it for the dogs, what are you doing?
Sled dogs are bred to work. For most of these dogs, if you aren’t fulfilling their needs, they will be getting into trouble and causing mayhem in your home. But this isn’t every sled dog. Some of these dogs don’t have the drive or desire to pull. We don’t force any dogs to pull. If they aren’t enjoying their work, we will chose different ways to stimulate our dogs, both mentally and physically.
