CTW’s Eagle in Disguise “Ezio”

04.16.2019 Neutered Siberian Husky

Ezio has an interesting origin story. At the time of finding out about him, I was friends with a person who ran a rescue that brought northern breeds over from Qatar (yes, the tiny little country that juts off of Saudi Arabia!). When Ezio came overseas to stay in his foster home, I figured I would give running him and Zelda together a try, since Naya was older and not quite up to speed with Zelda. Sure enough, like the young dogs they both were, we had an absolutely terrible run. They wouldn’t stop playing with each other!! A run that normally took me 30-40 minutes took almost two hours simply because I had to drag those two through the trails. Since then the two of them stepped up and became a great duo to run together. Now that Z is gone, Ezio mostly enjoys running on a section by himself or next to Naya if we are doing a fun run. He does best in wheel, but with such a small team currently, he is being trained for lead and team as well.

Fun fact, dogs traveling overseas (or at least from Qatar) get a fun passport full of stamps and all his vaccine records!
